A day at the zoo. I took a lot of pictures, but I liked this one especially because of the cool feeling of the water, and the nice effect of the reflection.

Went to the old city in Jerusalem, so the Wailing Wall had to be the picture of the day.
It’s just amazing how such a simple and elegant design can be so functional. I love the symmetry which still allows for flexibility when you need it. 4 minutes in the microwave and the bottles are sterilized, no pots of boiling water for me!
In case you’re wondering, it’s true that after the age of 1 we don’t strictly need to sterilize bottles, but we don’t run the dishwasher every day, and we do let the bottles sit around before washing them. I’ve seen what can grow in these formula bottles if they’re not clean enough, so to be safe – we sterilize them anyway. I hope that we’ll be off bottles as soon as possible, and I’ll be able to put the sterilizer away (at least until the next baby comes along).
As I was about to start making them, I realized I didn’t have enough oil. It was still early enough to go to the supermarket before it closed, so I hopped over there. I wasn’t surprised to see I wasn’t the only one in line with just a bottle of oil…
Sunset at the annual summer event from my husband’s workplace. I didn’t edit this picture at all (not so much as a straighten or crop even). I’m very proud of the result.
Happy birthday to my daughter Hodaya! I can’t believe she’s a year old already! It seems like just yesterday I was waddling around 9 months pregnant in the August heat…
He-hey! 49! That’s 7 squared!
Colors & textures in what’s left of the baby’s bath.
